Captain George's is back! Best fish and chips in the area. I had the one piece Haddock and fries ($13.50 plus tax and tip). The fries are fresh cut and the fish was properly done with generous portions. They provide tartar sauce in a bottle now. They have added a lunch special of pollock and fries for $8.49 that is a very good deal.

It is no longer called Captain Georges fish & chips. The Fish & chips are amazing at this location including the tartar sauce & home cut fries. The batter was nice & crisp right until the last bite. The portion of fish is probably the biggest I have ever had. The young lady & gentlemen that served us were very polite and went above & beyond + very fast service. I live in Toronto & come to Campbellford once every year or 2 and I will be coming back here every time I am in town. I would even say this place is much better then most fish & chips joint's in Toronto & would easily compete with the best. Thank you
